Content: What is this resource about? What does it contain?
Currency: Was the resource published in 1995 or later?
Reliability: Can you rely on this resource? Did the author do his/her research properly? Did s/he cite other reliable sources?
Relevancy: Is this resource on topic? Is it literary criticism of your short story or novel?
Authority: Who is the author? What is her/his affiliation?
Accuracy: Goes along with reliability – is the author’s research methodology sound? Has s/he done her/his research?
Point of View: What is the author’s critical approach?
Purpose? Why was this resource written? To inform? To entertain? To persuade?
